CalFresh to Pause Benefits During Government Shutdown
The federal government shutdown is approaching one month. And as it continues to drag on, food benefits for nearly 42 million people are in limbo. Ethan Dye is the Director of the Sacramento County Department of Human Assistance, which administers CalFresh among other government programs for low-income residents.

Investigative Reporter Matthias Gafni from the San Francisco Chronicle joins Insight to talk about the reaction to the news of this deployment, and what led to its reversal.
